What's Happening in the Exhibit Hall (Hall C)

Rock with more than 50 exhibiting organizations while you discover the latest trends, products and services in economic development. During the IEDC 2016 Annual Conference this September, you'll visit the exhibit hall Learning Lab sessions to hear company profiles, vendor resources as well as tools and best practices for your community.

Exhibit Hall Hours

• Sunday, Sep. 25: 12:00 - 7:30 p.m.
• Monday, Sep. 26: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Sep. 27: 7:00 a.m. - 12 p.m.

1. Resource Center

The IEDC Resource Center, located at the center of the exhibit hall, will be your first stop for all things IEDC and Annual Conference. IEDC staff will be on site to answer any questions you may have. Be sure to check out the IEDC bookstore and browse new and popular resources and publications.

This year in honor of IEDC's 90th year as the premier professional association for the economic developer, we will have a special 90th Anniversary Theater in the Resource Center. The Theater will be playing videos created just for this special year. You'll see and hear your peers share details about their career in the profession, who and what inspires them, and what they see as future challenges, and also future opportunities to increase impact on the global economy. See some of those videos now at www.iedconline.org/90years.

2. Exhibitor Passport

Travel around the Exhibit Hall and get your exhibitor passport stamped! As you visit our exhibitors and learn about their latest products and services, be sure to get your passport stamped. The exhibitor passport will be located in the IEDC Annual Conference pocket guide. Once you have 15 of booths (or more!) stamped, deposit your passport into the raffle drum located in the IEDC Resource Center, in Exhibit Hall C, by Monday, 9/26 at 3 p.m. Be sure to include your name and phone number on the Passport. Prize drawings will occur Tuesday, September 27th. You must be present to win.

3. 2017 Toronto Passport Photos

Going global! IEDC's 2017 Annual Conference is heading to Toronto. Don't let an outdated or lack of passport separate you from the world's largest gathering of economic development professionals. You can even get your photo taken (for free!) in Cleveland, plus passport applications will be onsite. Visit our photographer in booth 727 to have your new passport photo snapped.

4. Beer Competition

Cheers to 90 Years! Take Part in the Great Cleveland Beer Challenge. Cleveland challenges your community to a best beer contest! Attend the 2016 IEDC Annual Conference and enter your community's beer in the Great Cleveland Beer Challenge. The deadline to submit your community's beer is August 31. See a detailed flyer on the contest HERE.

5. Get Spotted!

One of the main reasons people attend IEDC conferences is to network amongst peers and partnering organizations. Get ready to rock all the way through IEDC's exhibit hall in Cleveland, and "Get Spotted" while there. IEDC paparazzi (staff) will covertly "spot" attendees as they visit and peruse the exhibit hall. Attendees that are "spotted" will be rewarded with prizes and a thank you for partaking in exhibit hall events! Prizes will be given out Sunday, Monday and Tuesday during exhibit hall hours.

6. Silent Auction

IEDC is proud to present a Silent Auction at the 2016 Annual Conference in Cleveland, OH. The Silent Auction will be held in support of the Diane Lupke Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund helps economic development professionals working in distressed communities continue their industry education. Donating items is a great way to showcase and market your community to the largest gathering of economic developers while helping a worthy cause. For more information regarding the IEDC Silent Auction, please contact Chris Collins at (202) 942-9485 or ccollins@iedconline.org.
