Joseph Lillyblad is the Education and Workforce Development Manager for the C&ED team, leading initiatives to support the economic workforce and education needs within our communities. In this role, Joseph is responsible for developing strategies for Pre-K through post-secondary students that best leverage Georgia Power's resources and expertise. Joseph's team focuses on contributing to a highly qualified future STEM workforce as well as partnering with education organizations throughout the state. Joseph describes his role as more than a career, but an opportunity to give back to the kids of Georgia.

Prior to joining Community and Economic Development, Joseph worked in Human Resources managing talent acquisition and workforce development for Georgia Power, Gulf Power and Southern Company. Before that, he supported Southern Nuclear and worked in the healthcare industry focusing on talent, workforce development and implementing strategic plans for growth.

Joseph earned his undergraduate degree in International Relations from Kennesaw State University and currently serves on the board of Communities in Schools of Georgia.
