Rob Garcia is the Manager of Business Leaders United (BLU) for Workforce Partnerships with National Skills Coalition. In this role, Rob creates a platform for business and industry leaders to inform and advance workforce and education policies that address the needs of business. Rob also leads BLU’s collaboration with chambers of commerce and industry associations to provide those organizations and their members a unified voice on skills policy, and provides capacity to grow and support local BLU affiliates in targeted states across the country.

Rob previously worked as the Senior Manager of Workforce Initiatives at the Cobb Chamber of Commerce in Northwest Atlanta. In this role, Rob led the development of the Cobb Workforce Partnership—a coalition of Cobb’s business, education, and community leaders to identify and address the workforce needs of Cobb County—and helped create Georgia BLU in partnership with other Metro Atlanta chambers. Rob also served on Cobb’s Workforce Investment Board and on the Chattahoochee Technical College Board of Directors.

Rob received a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business at Auburn University.
