Chad Rupe currently serves as the Acting Administration of the Rural Utility Service (RUS) at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Prior to receiving his appointment as State Director, Chad Rupe worked as a State Office Loan Specialist for USDA Rural Development in Wyoming. He also worked on regional and national committees for the National Association of Credit Specialists – Rural Development, which serves to improve the delivery of USDA’s programs and services. Chad also worked as a community banker in Wyoming for 11 years with extensive community involvement and served his nation for 9 years as a US Army officer. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix. Chad was born and raised in Douglas, Wyoming, where he currently lives with his wife and 3 children. His team’s mission is to improve the rural prosperity of Wyoming by increasing access to capital markets for its residents.
