As Vice President of Business Development for the Orlando Economic Partnership. Casey is responsible leading the team to aggressively attract, retain and grow jobs in Orlando.

In his five years at the Orlando Economic Partnership, Orlando has led the nation in job growth three times. Casey’s leadership contributed directly to winning major projects with ADP, Deloitte Consulting, KPMG, Lockheed Martin, Siemens, Thales, USTA, Verizon, and many more. Together, the team has helped companies create an expected 21,000 new jobs and $1.8 billion in capital investment.

Prior to joining the Orlando Economic Partnership in 2013, Casey worked at Enterprise Florida for 14 years and throughout his time there held positions of increasing responsibility. Those included roles in workforce development, international trade, and business development. As director of business development, Casey facilitated high-wage job creation in the state of Florida with a particular focus on aviation, aerospace and defense. In eight years, Casey worked with 101 companies to create and retain 22,215 jobs and more than $1.8 billion in new capital investment in the state of Florida. At Enterprise Florida, Casey landed major projects with Boeing, Embraer, Kaman, Lockheed Martin, Piper Aircraft, Pratt and Whitney, and many more.

Casey is a member of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), and through this organization he earned his Certified Economic Developer accreditation in 2009. In 2017, he was honored with the Excellence in Economic Development Award from the Site Selectors Guild. In 2018, Casey completed the Advanced Economic Development Leadership Program and attained the credential of Master Practitioner in Economic Development.

Casey holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from Florida State University and bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and French from Roanoke College.
