Since early 2009, Alison Benton has served as President of Aliquantus Consulting, a site selection, incentive negotiation and workforce/economic development solutions firm. She previously served as Principal/National Leader for Credits & Incentives for large accounting firms UHY Advisors, McGladrey and Deloitte, as well as Vice President for Strategic Partnerships based out of Washington, D.C.

Alison has focused on job creation and up-skilling workers, facilitating site selection for regional and US headquarters, logistics/distribution, and other new facilities. Aliquantus specializes in negotiating creative incentives that are win-win, and include workforce development solutions for HCA, IBM, Citigroup, Shell, Mitsubishi, Southwest Airlines, Target, and Hilton, among others.

Having served in Economic Development Director positions locally and regionally, she has also worked in non-profit, workforce and corporate roles to successfully lead innovation. As a longtime Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), Alison is a recognized creative challenge-solver, sharing that expertise as a volunteer board member for organizations as diverse as Keep Texas Beautiful, Bloom Development (Phoenix-based talent leadership initiative for young college women), and aSTEAM Village (Kansas City-based disadvantaged youth STEM program). Ms. Benton is a graduate of: Arizona State University with a B.A. in Communication, the Economic Development Institute, NDC and NADCO finance courses.
