As the Managing Director he is primarly responsible for strategic planning, business strategy development,market segmentidentification and evaluation, client negotiations and has overall responsability for Marketing and Sales. His duties also include managing a team of highly skilled professionals in the US and India. Among the key areas he focuses on is maintaining the highest customer statisfaction on all accounts.
Since joining SVAM in 2003, he and his team have significantly increased sales revenues making SVAM one of the fastest growing entities on the island.
A customer focused and visionary sales executive, Michael has demonstrated his ability to lead and has helped the company achieve several significant milestones including providing creative (cost savings and effective) solutions to the likes of Motorola, SonicWall, North Shore Health Systems, Federal Resevre Bank and Deutche Bank. He has been a key driver in the set-up of SVAM's unique CorrectShore® model to service it US based companies by bringing the benefits of the third world economies like India, while retaining the client interface locally and thereby bridging the dispartities between two cultures.
Michael's leadership and passion have become hallmarks of his tenure of SVAM, Michael has infused SVAM with his own brand of energetic leadership, vision and spirit over the years. He also serves as leadership coach and mentor to high potential associates in SVAM's Mentoring Program.
Prior to SVAM, Michael spent over a decade working in the Training and Professional Development Industry with Both ExecuTrain an IDG company and Dale Carnegie Training.
He also serves on the Board of directors for Big Brother Big Sisters of Long island.
