Natalie Gibson, president of InnoVisions and Associates, an award winning, international economic development firm based in Alberta, Canada. Natalie is passionate about providing community leaders with the tools, knowledge and inspiration to help their entrepreneurs and ultimately their communities thrive and grow.

With 20 years of economic and business development experience, Natalie serves both private and public sector clients. Her expertise includes, but is not limited to, business and community consultation ranging from executive core teams to community engagement with 100s of participants to business retention and expansion programs for towns, regions and metropolitan centres such as the City of Calgary. Natalie has developed dozens of long-term strategic plans for cities, towns and communities, and well as investment attraction programs.

Natalie shares a unique community development perspective drawn from experience in both economic development, and from serving as an elected official. Natalie is certified in both economic development and marketing. In the last ten years, through the Economic Developers of Alberta (EDA), Natalie has taught, trained and motivated hundreds of elected officials, economic development personnel and community stakeholders. She is a certified training delivering one of Canada’s first Community Economic Development Training Program (CEDTP).

Through the lens of an economic developer, Natalie will provide perspective and best practices on how to attract, increase and measure success when creating marketing strategy for distinctly different generations.
