Dale Greer is Director of the Cullman Alabama Economic Development Agency overseeing a department responsible for the recruitment of new industry, assisting existing industry expansion, workforce development and retail development. The agency routinely ranks among the best in Alabama for the total number of new and expanding industry projects in the State and has been ranked in the top five Micropolitans in American four consecutive years.

Greer is Past President of the Economic Development Association of Alabama and a former Alabama Director for the 17-state Southern Economic Development Council. He is an Honorary Life Member of SEDC.

He is currently serving his second term on the Alabama Workforce Council and is Co-Chair of the AWC Marketing and Promotions Committee. Greer is also past chairman and a current a member of the North Alabama Works Region 1 Executive Committee and a member of the WIOA Region 1 Workforce Council.

Mr. Greer was the Cullman County Distinguished Citizen of the Year in 2014. He is past president of the Cullman Rotary Club; A founding member of the Cullman Parks and Recreation Foundation; Chair of the Wallace State College Future Foundation $10 million Capital Campaign; and, past president of the Wallace Alumni Association. He served as project manager for a $110 million dam and reservoir construction project that created a 650-acre lake that will provide drinking water for the community for 100 years.

He graduated from the Business programs at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville and Athens State.
