Sarah Iglehart is the Deputy Director at Develop Indy, the full service economic development organization for the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, and a business unit of the Indy Chamber. In her role, Sarah serves as the business development liaison to site consultants and the business community, oversees corporate expansion and relocation projects in Indianapolis, manages partnerships including the Indianapolis Airport Authority, and works closely with the City of Indianapolis to develop inclusive growth policies and programs including HIRED, an incentive program with the goal of increasing job opportunities for individuals with prior justice involvement. Sarah has a wealth of economic development expertise. Prior to joining Develop Indy, Sarah worked as a Senior Project Manager for the IEDC. During her two years there, Sarah assisted in bringing Indiana over 7,000 new jobs, over $5M in new investment, and over $4M in new payroll. Serving in a business development role, she sold the State of Indiana to site consultants and companies interested in expanding or locating their business in Indiana. Before her employment at the IEDC, Sarah worked at Crowe Horwath LLP as a Senior Government Consultant where she lead the development of four district-level disaster housing plans and prepared TIF Revenue reports, capacity analysis, and official statements for municipal bond issuances throughout Indiana. Sarah is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs.
