Ms. Jones joined the Invest Atlanta Legal Division as the Senior Legal Assistant in 2015. As the Senior Legal Assistant, she contributed to the organization of the legal division by implementing new processes and the managing projects. Also, she served as the corporate event planner executing some of Invest Atlanta’s most memorable events, such as the Inaugural 2016 Small Business Awards Luncheon and City Hall Power Women Sweat Fundraising Event. Ms. Jones’ project management skills, attention to detail, determination, and innovative thinking landed her a new position in the Investment Services and Economic Development division, in 2017. Prior to Invest Atlanta, Sheoyki launched her first entrepreneurial venture as a Talent Manager, Ms. Jones managed the career of an independent singer/ songwriter and aspiring model turned international model. Ms. Jones landed her model talent jobs in New York Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, HBO Bessie, national and international campaigns, and International Milan Fashion Week. As a talent manager, Ms. Jones took the initiative to work alongside production teams to execute high level fashion shows in both New York, Atlanta, and Milan, in which she gained event planning experience. For her singer/ songwriter she managed the creation of the artist’ debut EP and secured performance opportunities with platinum recording artists.

Ms. Jones’ career continued to flourish. In 2017, Ms. Jones took the initiative to activate the Film and Entertainment target cluster for Invest Atlanta, in which there was little activity. She created a new program, 1.25M Creative Industries Loan Fund, to invest in film, music, and digital entertainment content creators. Her tenacity in this role landed her a new created position to Invest Atlanta, Program Manager of Creative Industries. In this role, she educates the local creative talent and companies on the resources available to keep them sustainable. Ms. Jones’ main focus is to identify and create opportunities to invest, retain and grow the local creatives within the City of Atlanta. Also, she attracts creative businesses to the City of Atlanta to contribute to the growing creative industries ecosystem.

Outside of work, Sheoyki serves as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., ATL Leaders Council, the International Economic Development Council, Georgia Economic Development Association, a member of PR and Marketing Committee of the Atlanta Business League and a board member of the Atlanta International Night Market. Ms. Jones finds great joy in paying it forward, as she serves as an advisor and mentor to non-profit organizations, Paroled 2 Pride and The Young Elite. In her spare time, Ms. Jones enjoys serving her community through volunteering efforts, such as Hands on Atlanta and Clinton Foundation Day of Action. Recently, she was inducted and recognized by the Metro Atlanta Chamber as an inaugural member of the ChooseATL Influencer Program for the work she has done. Ms. Jones is dedicated to using her platform to uplift the creative community that she serves.
