Marcus Lam, with over 12 years of industry and professional experience, has worked with aviation clients across the globe in airport air service development, airport incentive program design, airline hub network designs for island flag carriers and airline alliance/partnerships valuation.

At Air Canada, Marcus was responsible for the network planning and scheduling of flights operated by over 340 aircraft through the airline’s major hub operations at Calgary, Montreal, Toronto Pearson, and Vancouver airports.

At InterVISTAS, Marcus has worked with airport and airline clients in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australasia and Europe. For airports, Marcus has worked with the Massachusetts Port Authority for the development of Asia services to Boston Logan, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority for the recently announced Cathay Pacific service between Washington Dulles and Hong Kong, Transpacific service for Melbourne (Australia) International Airport as well as international route opportunities for Oakland International Airport, Kelowna International Airport, Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport and St. John’s International Airport. Specifically for island economies, Marcus has direct route planning experience with teams at LIAT (Antigua), TACV Cabo Verde Airlines (Cabo Verde) and Fiji Airways (Fiji). He is an expert in using advanced passenger choice network modelling software to craft compelling Air Service Market Opportunity Presentations to target airlines.

Marcus has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Electrical Engineering) and Masters of Business Administration degrees from The University of Toronto.
