Edward A. Nelson, Jr., is President & Chairman of EANI Consulting, a professional Economic Development Consulting firm.

Most recent, EANI has been contracted by Decide DeKalb Development Authority as Project Management Consultant for site selection services to companies seeking to locate and or expand in DeKalb County. He has also served as lead consultant and project director of the Economic Development Initiative for Unincorporated South Fulton County; an economic development project designed to provide comprehensive services in a challenging part of the Fulton County. In this capacity, he was responsible for attracting and recruiting targeted industries, retaining and expanding the existing industry base, developing small businesses, nurturing new entrepreneurs, and project development. Working with public and private stakeholders in the community, he led efforts that resolved issues directly or indirectly impeding economic growth in Unincorporated South Fulton County. Stakeholders included private sector companies, non-profit community organizations, Boulevard CID, Fulton County Code Enforcement, Fulton County Police Department, Fire Department, District Attorney, Health and Human Services, and Development Services. The four year project generated $400+ million in new investment and over 1,000 new and retained jobs. He recently completed a Site Advisory Services project on a $180 million global manufacturing project to be located in Georgia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
