Lyneir Richardson is a Professional Practice Instructor at Rutgers Business School in Newark, NJ and the Executive Director of the Rutgers Center for Urban Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CUEED). At CUEED, he leads capacity building programs that have assisted over 400 entrepreneurs.

Lyneir is also CEO of The Chicago TREND Corporation, a social enterprise working to stimulate retail development that will strengthen city neighborhoods. His startup was launched in 2016 with $7M of funding from two prestigious impact investors.

Lyneir has served as Chief Executive Officer of the primary economic development corporation in Newark, NJ. He was Vice President of Urban Development at General Growth Properties, Inc. where he led the national initiative to bring quality shopping centers to ethnic neighborhoods in large U.S. cities. In his 20’s, he founded a company and was named a U.S. Small Business Administration ""Young Entrepreneur of the Year."" Lyneir started his career as a corporate attorney at the First National Bank of Chicago.

Lyneir graduated from Bradley University and the University of Chicago Law School.
