As a librarian and program manager in the Business Resource & Innovation Center (BRIC) at the Free Library of Philadelphia, Gillian Robbins specializes in curating information, providing research services, and coordinating programming and special events for entrepreneurs, job seekers, and nonprofit professionals. In her role, Gillian received a certificate in Small Business Analysis & Planning from Fox Business School, was honored as a nominee for Philadelphia’s Social Innovations Award, and was instrumental in developing a new service model for the BRIC. Gillian is an author and speaker, most recently co-publishing her first book, Taking Care of Business in the 21st Century: A New Library Service Model (2018). She received her M.S.L.S. from Clarion University.
