As Manager of Land Sales for Georgia Power, Johnna is responsible for managing the company’s property assets in a manner that enhances value, protects and promotes the company’s image and relationships with customers and the general public. Most recently Johnna served as manager of Community Development for Georgia Power. In this role, Johnna was responsible for the company’s efforts in preparing Georgia’s communities for growth and bringing new jobs and investment to the state. The Community Development organization supports local communities through leadership development, strategic planning, industry expansion, retention and recruitment. The team also provides management with guidance on policies and issues affecting education and workforce development. Johnna began her career with Georgia Power in 1989 and has worked in numerous organizations including Substation Test, Marketing, Sales, Key Accounts, Lighting Services, Customer Service, Energy Efficiency and Business Development. Johnna has also served as the Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Customer Service and Sales as well as the Assistant to the Vice President of Energy Planning and Nuclear Development.

Johnna serves as chair of the State Charter School Foundation of Georgia and has served on the foundation's Board of Trustees for the Professional Association of Georgia Educators for two years. Johnna holds a Bachelor of Science in agricultural engineering from the University of Georgia and a MBA in finance from Kennesaw State University. She and her husband, Mike, live in Duluth, Georgia. Together, they have four children.
