Paul Zito is the Vice President of International Development for RGP Northwest Ohio. His mission for RGP Northwest Ohio and as a representative for JobsOhio in the Northwest Ohio region is to help stimulate the economy via increased foreign direct investment promotion and by providing export assistance to local companies.

Paul has over 20 years of international business development experience and has worked with companies around the world to help grow their overseas markets. For ten years he was an international sales executive and consultant in the motion picture industry, selling millions of dollars per year by licensing the overseas rights to motion pictures to companies such as British Sky Broadcasting, Canal +, Sony, Daewoo, HBO and others. In Los Angeles he worked with companies such as De Laurentiis Entertainment Group, Crown International Pictures, Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.

For over ten years, Paul served as Managing Director of the State of Ohio European Office (Brussels, Belgium), one of the overseas offices of the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD). He generated tens of millions of dollars per year of European investment into Ohio and exports from Ohio working with companies such as BMW, Siemens, Reed-Elsevier, CAP Gemini, ThyssenKrup, Groupe Danone, Kuka, Siemens, Daimler AG, Glud & Marstrand, ArcelorMittal and many small and medium-sized companies. During his tenure with the ODOD office in Brussels he also served for three years as Chairman of the Council of American States in Europe and acted as a judge for the European Investment Promotion Awards for Strategic Direct Investor magazine.

Paul has been appointed Chairman of the International Advisory Committee of the IEDC (International Economic Development Council) for 2018.

Paul has been a frequent speaker on international business topics over the past 20 years at many events in the Toledo region, across Ohio and in several different countries.

Paul holds an MBA in International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University. He speaks German and French fluently.
