Professional Workshop: Improv for Economic Developers
Monday, February 3 | 2:15 pm - 3:45 pm

All economic developers find themselves in high-pressure situations. Having improvisational skills helps one stay focused and energized under pressure, become a more authentic public speaker, and feel comfortable performing in uncertain situations. It's also downright entertaining. Join Amy Holloway, IEDC member and CEO of Avalanche Consulting, for an improv and sales workshop designed specifically for economic developers. Whether recruiting a potential future prospect, working with a site selector, or reaching out to entrepreneurs and other community stakeholders, every economic developer will benefit from this unique professional development opportunity.

Be prepared to be put on the spot, but don't be shy! This workshop will take place in a supportive environment where creative interaction and professional growth are the main goals.
