Carla Hinkle is the Workforce Development Manager for Defiance County Ohio Economic Development. Carla has a wide variety of work experience from travel agent, customer service, manufacturing office position, corrections officer, electrical utility front desk and billing clerk, workforce administrative, and youth coordinator. The broad dynamics of all her work experience has brought her to the understanding of seeing how all those pieces fit together to be able to serve the county in her current position. She likes to say “she is the connector of dots” among the partnership agency's, employers and schools.

Carla is a graduate of the University of St Francis in Ft Wayne IN with an Associate of Arts Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Bluffton University.
