Lorie Vincent currently serves as the founder and President of ACCELERATION by design LLC. A professional economic development developer for 28 years, she has taken three organizations to the “next level”- a county organization, a regional organization and a state organization. In 2018, she created her own firm, ACCELERATION by design LLC, a boutique economic development firm which provides a fresh new approach to training, client engagement and organizational effectiveness. A popular speaker, writer and trainer, Lorie brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to the industry. She is a strong proponent of regionalism, a proud advocate for rural America, a public relations maven, a kick butt event planner and a traditional economic development practitioner who has a proven record of results. Her career has included long-time engagements with Sherman County Development, The High Ground of Texas and Team Texas.

Ms. Vincent served as the 2013 Chairman of the Texas Economic Development Council. She has served on the West Texas A&M University Foundation Board, is a Leadership Texas Alumni member and a Rapport Leadership International Master Graduate III. She has received national recognition for her leadership and economic development accomplishments. Lorie holds a BBA in Accounting and is a Certified Economic Developer.

Lorie and her husband, Matt, rack up the miles traveling between their homes in Stratford, Texas and Austin, Texas. Their daughter, Mazie Rae, is enjoying life as a sports broadcaster at WJFW Newswatch 12 in Wisconsin.
