She recently led the efforts that resulted in Costco selecting Fremont, Nebraska as the preferred location for their first fully integrated poultry processing facility. Getting the project to this point has taken creativity, tenacity, and incredible skill.

In June 2017, Cecilia announced that she will depart from her position in Fremont to become the new President and CEO of ENVISION Fond du Lac, Inc., a new private-public partnership that combines the programming for Fond du Lac, Wisconsin’s association of commerce and economic development organization. She will assume this new role in July 2017.

Prior to her work in Fremont, Cecilia worked at the Leavenworth County Development Corporation in Leavenworth, Kansas, where she grew the organization’s business retention and expansion program to deliver unprecedented value to Leavenworth County businesses. She is a social worker by training and spent several years with the Department of Child Services in the State of Indiana prior to finding her way to economic development. She loves the idea of helping families achieve stability and safety through economic opportunities like skills enhancement and quality jobs with quality wages.

Ms. Harry earned her certified economic developer designation in 2015. She currently serves on the board of directors of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), an organization that today has over 5,000 members. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Social Work degree in Social and Economic Development at Washington University in St. Louis.
