Adam, is a U.K. based consultant, with 30 years of experience in the economic development policy arena. He has nine years of working in the public sector: for the U.K. Government (Civil Service) as a Regional Co-ordinator of a major inner-city regeneration program in the mid-1990s, for Nottingham City Council’s Economic Development Team and for an urban regeneration partnership.
He founded and has led Chimera Consulting since 2001 – an economic development research consultancy practice – and has delivered over 240 assignments for public and private sector clients as well as many non-profit organizations.
Adam provides a range of tailored services for clients, including project and program evaluation, project business planning, grant funding advice, community and business consultation work/ surveys and organizational review and development. He is particularly adept at qualitative evaluation techniques to gather opinion and feedback, helping clients to understand what aspects of a program are proving to be a success, what needs improvement to maximise impact and providing clients with clear recommendations to shape future economic development programs.
He is also a passionate advocate of “social value” – businesses playing an active role in supporting community activity and he provides an average of $15,000 probono advice to non-profits each year.
