Zachary Nieder

As a manager of ICIC’s research and advisory practice, Zach directs and supports projects focused on economic growth and anchor strategies. He works closely with senior leadership to strategically grow the organization’s project portfolio, as well as working with the research and advisory team to develop innovative dissemination strategies to help reach a broad audience of stakeholders. Previously, Zach was a Senior Associate at The American City Coalition. In that role, he focused on facilitating early partnerships between community stakeholders, property owners, developers, and public officials to catalyze local economic development projects and align ongoing investment with community goals. Zach has held several professional roles at the intersection of economic development, public health, and urban planning. Zach sits on the board of Artmorpheus, a nonprofit that runs the Fairmount Innovation Lab in Boston. Zach holds a MA from the University of St. Andrews and an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
