Melanie brings nearly a decade of experience working with corporate partners to develop innovative workforce strategies. She is responsible for the first-ever business engagement division at Northern Virginia Community College, which includes management of apprenticeship programming. Melanie will not only speak to the role of the apprenticeship program, but to the broader and transformational role that a community college can play to support the regional economy, through the use of labor market research and other corporate engagement strategies.
