Jim Colson is a performance-oriented leader and collaborative problem solver with more than 25 years of progressive experience as an economic developer and city manager. Jim provides site location advisory services and a limited amount of economic development competitiveness consulting.

Jim has completed many successful projects including Spirit AeroSystems’ composite assembly facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Hughes Missile Systems (Raytheon) retention and expansion in Tucson, AZ; USAA Regional HQ in Phoenix, AZ; recruitment of and facility development for NFL Arizona Cardinals and NHL Coyotes in Glendale, AZ.

Jim was the founding CEO of the New Mexico Partnership under Governor Bill Richardson and served as the city manager for the capital city of Kansas, Topeka.

Jim is committed to working with clients to develop and implement innovative solutions that are practical and effective resulting in increased jobs, capital investment and quality of life.

Jim is a graduate from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (MUP); Western Seminary, Portland, OR (MA); and, Northwood University, Midland, MI(BBA).Â
