Howard Greenberg was formerly Publisher and CEO of Tribune Publishing Company’s Florida properties. This included serving as Publisher and CEO of the Sun Sentinel, the Orlando Sentinel and Vice President/General Manager WSFL-TV from 2008-2016. He retired from Tribune Publishing in March of 2016 and starting his own media consulting company.

Prior to that, Howard held several leadership positions at the Sun Sentinel serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Vice President/Circulation Director and Vice President/Director of New Business Development.

Before joining Sun Sentinel Company, Greenberg served as Circulation Director for the Denver Post and held several key management positions with the Miami Herald. He also spent a year as Vice President of Circulation for the New York Daily News.

Greenberg has a degree in finance from the University of Miami. He has attended advanced management programs at both Duke and Cornell Universities since joining Sun Sentinel Company.

Greenberg is currently a member of the Orange Bowl Committee, Broward Workshop and the South Florida Marine Research Hub. His past Board memberships include the Broward Alliance’s CEO Council, the Community Foundation of Broward, Museum of Art, Museum of Discovery & Science and the YMCA as well as Jack and Jill Children’s Center. Greenberg and his wife, Cindy, live in Fort Lauderdale.
